Research: Brazil: The 2011 Advertising Market, in Numbers

According to a recent study by Proyecto Inter-Meios (coordinated by Grupo Meio & Mensagem and PriceWaterhouseCoopers), total turnover for Brazilian media during 2011 was $22.482 billion, of which media billings from ad space sales accounted for $16.385 billion.

Research: Google Sites Lead the ranking in LatAm

According to the ComScore rankings for September 2011 (see table below), Google’s media properties, which include YouTube, in Latin America occupied the first place with a reach of just over 119 million unique visitors out of a total market universe of almost 124.5 monthly unique visitors. In second place, Microsoft sites reached nearly 114.5 million users and Facebook occupied the third position with 101.4 million users.

Research: Google Sites Lead the ranking in LatAm

Google sites are leading the pack in the most important digital markets in Latin America. According to the latest August figures from comScore, Google's digital properties are at the top of the ranking in Brazil, Mexico, and Argentina, with about 94% penetration among the digital population.
