SAN DIEGO–(BUSINESS WIRE)–Seismic, the global leader in enablement, today announced the appointment of Johanna Flower to its board of directors. Johanna brings more than 20 years of go-to-market expertise, category creation and leadership experience at technology companies.
Most recently, Johanna served as the chief marketing officer at CrowdStrike where she led all global marketing for six years, including through its successful IPO in 2019. “As a former CMO, I’m a big believer in the power of enablement to align go-to-market organizations, better engage customers, and grow revenue,” said Johanna. “Over the past decade, enablement has become a strategic imperative for cultivating smart growth at leading enterprise companies, thanks to Seismic’s efforts in creating and building the category. I’m ecstatic to be joining Seismic’s board and look forward to partnering with Doug and his team to push the industry forward.”
“I’ve had the pleasure of knowing Johanna for a long time and have admired her success,” said Doug Winter, CEO and co-founder, Seismic. “Her experience with scaling global brands and taking category-leading companies through an IPO will be invaluable to our team, and we’re looking forward to working with her.”
Johanna is an investor and strategic advisor to several private software companies, and she currently serves as an independent board director for Freshworks, ForgeRock, Expel, Yellowbrick Data, and Theta Lake.
