  • Sony – Global

Sony is launching its new campaign for its Xperia range of smartphones. The campaign: “Made of Imagination’ was developed by McCann Worldgroup, PHD and LBi and has executions via TV, print, digital, out-of-home and retail, to roll out over the course of 2012.

  • HSBC – Brazil

HSBC launched in Brazil a new digital campaign called “A new world is emerging. Be part of it”. The agency in charge of the campaign is CASA.

With 4 videos, HSBC is looking to strengthen its brand image. The videos show the economic predictions for 2050 and new ways of production based on sustainability with alternative sources of energy.

  • Kaiser – Brazil

Kaiser announced a new platform in its Facebook page where each region of the country will have a personalized site. Every region will have its own and local messages. Vanessa Brandao, Brand Manager, said the company prefers to target its audience with local content instead of draw a lot of information for everyone.

Kaiser also sponsored the season 2011 of CQC, a Bandeirantes TV program.

  • Activision – Global

Activision, the gaming company behind the 'Call of Duty' franchise, has reappointed MEC as its media agency in all markets outside North America.

Following a closed review of its planning and buying requirements, Omnicom's OMD has retained the Activision business in North America, while WPP-owned MEC has retained the business in all other markets. The global value of the account is understood to be in the region of $200m.

Go Daddy – Latin and Hispanic Market

Go Daddy is now available online in Spanish. The provider of web hosting services, domain names and SSL Certificates has launched es.GoDaddy.com. The new website is dedicated to helping Spanish speakers build their online businesses, as well as their personal websites.

The es.GoDaddy.com website is supported by Go Daddy’s customer care and is fully staffed, 24/7, with Spanish speakers who can help even the least tech savvy person develop their own website. Go Daddy already supports more than 10,000 Spanish calls per month from countries such as Mexico, Colombia, Spain, Peru and Argentina.

"Go Daddy is committed to helping small businesses grow … in countries all around the world,” said Go Daddy CEO Warren Adelman. “We created es.GoDaddy.com to better serve our Spanish speaking customers who want to leverage our easy-to-use products in their native language online.” In sync with the launch of es.GoDaddy.com, Go Daddy is making one of the stars from its 2012 Super Bowl commercial campaign an official Go Daddy spokeswoman. Natalia Velez, a native Spanish speaker, is the stunning model featured in the Go Daddy .CO ad called "Body Paint." Natalia is already helping spread the word about the new Go Daddy website.

The Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation has hired Beattie McGuinness Bungay to work on global communications projects.
