Jorge Mejía, who for the past two years has served as president of Sony ATV Music Publishing’s Latin American and U.S. Latin operations, has been promoted to president & CEO. Mejía will report directly to Sony/ATV Music Publishing chairman & CEO Jon Platt.

 

 

 

Andrés Ordóñez is FCB Chicago new Chief Creative Officer.

 

 

 

General Motors Co. announced that Ernesto M. Hernandez, President and Managing Director, GM Mexico, has elected to retire after almost 40 years with the company. Hernandez will remain on as GM advisor and assist in a smooth leadership transition.

 

 

 

 

 

GM also announced that Francisco Garza, currently vice president, Vehicle Sales, Service and Marketing, GM de Mexico, will succeed Hernandez in leading GM operations in Mexico, Central America and the Caribbean. Garza’s appointment is effective Sept. 1, 2019.  He will report to Barry Engle, executive vice president and president, the Americas.

 

 

 

Juan Carlos Garcia, currently chief financial officer, GM de Mexico, is named vice president, Vehicle Sales, Service and Marketing, GMM. He will report to Garza.

 

 

 

Maria Di Cesare appointed General Manager – Active Cosmetics Division at L’Oréal Group Argentina.

Federico Baumgartner, Bernardo Benedit & Leo McLean, Juan Bonilla and Felipe Torrejon are the new Sales Directors for Mexico, Argentina/Southern Cone, Colombia and Chile respectively. 

Alfonso Cueto will be the Sales Director for Pan Regional Miami, Central America and the Caribbean.

Ignacio Cabanillas will be in charge digital ad sales operations.
