Joe Zubizarreta is the new senior vice president of communications of The Greater Miami Chamber of Commerce. The advertising professional will oversee the strategic direction of the chamber’s internal and external communications. He assumes the leadership role on September 11.One of the most highly regarded U.S. Hispanic advertising executives, Zubizarreta worked for Zubi Advertising as chief operating officer.

 

 

 

Karen Barroeta has been appointed senior VP, marketing and creative for Telemundo Networks. She will lead the strategic development and execution of all consumer marketing initiatives across the company’s platforms, including oversight of the media buying and experiential marketing teams. She was previously senior VP, marketing and creative for NBCUniversal International Networks Spanish Latin America, a five-channel joint venture with Ole Communications. She also served as general manager of Telemundo Internacional and was senior VP, marketing creative for Telemundo Network.

 

 

Brittany Rabena joins PebblePost after a six-year tenure as Vice President of Advertising Operations & Programmatic Partnerships at Everyday Health, where she managed the post-sale operational divisions, led the yield optimization strategy and configuration of Everyday Health’s advertising technology platforms. Prior to Everyday Health, she worked in account management at Washington Post Digital. In her role as PebblePost’s Vice President of Campaign Operations, Brittany will lead technical services, implementation and yield teams as the company continues to fortify and scale the operations support of brands and its Programmatic Direct Mail® campaigns.

 

 

 

Industry veteran Stephen Clements is joining tech company Y Media Labs as its first chief creative officer.Clements is tasked with evolving the start-up beyond its core mobile app development expertise. He will help clients develop cohesive digital eco-systems, including website and kiosk design and tracking the customer journey experience.

 

 

 

 

MediaMonks has named Olivier Koelemij managing director for the global production company’s U.S. West Coast operation. Previously executive producer of MediaMonks L.A., Koelemij was responsible for founding the Los Angeles office in 2014 and its successful acquisition and merger with Stopp LA, growing the West Coast base to 26 Monk staffers with eight nationalities. MediaMonks Los Angeles works with leading brands and agencies including Uber, Google, Wieden + Kennedy and 72 & Sunny.
