Ignis Media Agency has appointed Sol Terzi Account General Director. Terzi will be responsible for all the agency’s accounts’ strategy, budget and monitoring. She will also continue in he position as International Business Manager. Terzi has been working at Ignis Media since 2004, when she joined the agency as a planning assistant.

 

 

 

Flor Carvallo is the new CEO of Publicis One Panama. Born in Panama, Carvallo has more than 20 years of experience in the industry. She has worked for several multinational companies with local and regional focus like Swift, Nestlé Panama, BAC Credomatic and MasterCard, among others.

 

 

 

 

Karisma Hotels & Resorts, which owns and manages properties in MexicoLatin America, the Caribbean and Europe, has announced the appointment of Juan Pablo Franky as CEO in South America.  Bringing with him more than 20 years of industry experience, Franky will spearhead the expansion of Karisma’s brands into Latin America along with operations and sales across South America, starting with the opening of a new office in Bogota, Colombia.In his new role, Franky will concentrate on commercial development in Latin America of Karisma’s properties across all of its brands, including El Dorado Spa Resorts, Azul Beach Resorts, Generations Resorts, Karisma Villas, Allure Hotels, Hidden Beach Resort, Nickelodeon Hotels & Resorts, Karisma Hotels Adriatic and the new Margaritaville, an All-Inclusive Experience, by Karisma.  

 

Fátima Rendeiro is agency Propeg new National Media Director. This is her second time at the agency. Rendeiro will also conduct media work of the agency's offices in São Paulo, Salvador, Brasilia and Fortaleza.

 

 

 

 

Oriol Albella has joined DDB Chile as Account Director. The Catalan executive came to Chile eight years ago. He spent four years working at FCB Mayo.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Rodrigo Grau has left J. Walter Thompson Brazil. Since February 2016, he was serving as JWT's CCO for Brazil and South America together with Ricardo John, who will continue leading creative for the region. Grau will return to Argentina, where he is planning to launch a new agency.

 

 

 

 

 

Independent Mexican agency Archer Troy announced the appointment of five new executives:

Abraham Quintana Garay is the new director of innovation and integration; Carlos Fernández Oxté, new creative general director; Gabriela Jasso and Mariana Torrijos, new customer service directors, and Rubén Ceballos, director of strategy.

Toby Southgate has been appointed global chief growth officer at McCann Worldgroup. He was previously CEO of WPP communications unit Brand Union, where he spent about a decade in assorted executive roles. Prior to that he was a managing partner at Third Eye Design.
