Sabio Mobile, a smarter technology-driven mobile ad platform, has announced two new hires: Andrew Polsky has been appointed Senior Vice President of East Coast Sales & Total Market Strategy, and Jean Yap-McNamara as Creative Director.

As the SVP of Sales, East, Andrew Polsky will hold a key leadership position in expanding Sabio’s client base on the East Coast through Sabio’s App Science capabilities. Polsky comes to Sabio from Adsmovil where he oversaw brand partnerships and revenue growth for the mobile ad network, including direct and programmatic business lines reaching 28 million U.S. Hispanics.

As Creative Director, Jean Yap-McNamara will lead Sabio’s creative team in delivering impactful mobile experiences to  brands Sabio currently works with. A digital advertising veteran of 14 years, Yap-McNamara comes to Sabio from AdColony/Opera Mediaworks where she played a key leadership role responsible for creating mobile experiences working across a diverse range of renowned brands.

 

MARC USA President/CEO Michele Fabrizi announced that Dave Buklarewicz has joined the agency as EVP/Executive Media Director. Buklarewicz comes from Havas Media in Boston. MARC USA provides media services for AOR clients such as Rite Aid, Payless ShoeSource, the Pennsylvania Lottery, Belle Tire and others as well as media-only clients including Five Star Senior Living and Kaleo.

 

 

 

 

Andrew Benett will be global chief commercial officer at Bloomberg Media, a newly created role. In addition to handling standard ad sales, marketing and consulting services for the international media property, Benett will also help to “build out a group within Bloomberg Media ‘that will be competing’ with creative and public relations agencies,” in his own words.

 

 

 

Accenture Interactive has promoted Jamie Posnanski to head of digital content. The firm’s content operation has over 7,000 employees globally spanning strategy, creative and production, management, distribution and other disciplines within the sector. He replaces Donna Tuths, who has left the company to explore other career opportunities. Previously Posnanski was managing director. He joined Accenture in October 2012 with the acquisition of avVenta Worldwide.

 

 

 

Turner, the cable TV network group, has promoted advertising executive Amit Chaturvedi to EVP, revenue operations and product management. Chaturvedi will be responsible for oversight, direction and management of Turner’s TV advertising operations division, as well as advertising products and product strategy on other Turner platforms. Chaturvedi had been SVP, revenue operations and platforms and had been with Turner since November 2015. He will report to Lenny Daniels, president of Turner Sports.Turner owns and operates various brands, including Adult Swim, Bleacher Report, Boomerang, Cartoon Network, CNN, ELEAGUE, FilmStruck, Great Big Story, HLN, iStreamPlanet, Super Deluxe, TBS, TCM, TNT, truTV and Turner Sports.

 

NBCUniversal Telemundo Enterprises announced the appointment of Francisco Ponce to the position of Vice President of On-Air Talent Management. In this role, he will oversee on-air talent relations, helping to develop and execute a unified on-air talent strategy across the division. Ponce will be based in Miami and will report to Claudia Foghini, Executive Vice President, Talent and Production Management Services at Telemundo Networks and Studios.Ponce will help facilitate the promotion of Telemundo and Universo on-air talent across all NBCUniversal platforms and he will work closely with the sales teams to identify and coordinate on-air talent for partnership opportunities.Previously, Ponce was CEO and President of In2ition Entertainment.

 

 

 

Dentsu Aegis Network announced the appointment of John Lee, Merkle’s chief product and data officer, to global president of MerkleONE, to oversee the global roll out of the people-based ad-targeting strategy and platform.Lee will oversee the development and roll out of M1 in the United States, reporting to David Williams, CEO Merkle, and John Murray, president, Amplifi Global. The change comes from the acquisition of Merkle in 2016 for a reported US$1.5 billion.

 

 

Publicis Communications has promoted Lizzie Dewhurst to global PR and communications director.She will be responsible for the messaging around the group’s creative agencies including Leo Burnett, Saatchi & Saatchi, Publicis Worldwide and Marcel, alongside several others.
