jjjjjEnterprise Rent-A-Car announced the company has expanded the Enterprise Plus loyalty program into the Caribbean and Latin American markets.Members of the Enterprise Plus loyalty program can now earn rewards and free rental days at locations in Belize, Costa Rica, Guatemala, Mexico, Nicaragua, Tortola, Trinidad & Tobago and Uruguay.Earlier this year, the Enterprise Plus loyalty program was also introduced in Argentina, Paraguay and Curacao. The Enterprise, National and Alamo brands now operate in more than 85 countries, including 30 in Latin America.

descarga (18)American Airlines Inc. plans to invest US$100 million in an aircraft maintenance center in Sao Paulo, touting it as a sign of confidence in Latin America’s largest economy despite Brazil’s recession and latest political turmoil.The US airline would set up its first maintenance center in South America at Sao Paulo’s Guarulhos airport, and would eventually offer services to other airlines.American Airlines spokesman Josh Freed said the No. 1 US airline by passenger traffic has plans to invest in Brazil but that he could not immediately confirm the amount.Four airports will be auctioned to private concessionaires on March 16 and the state company that manages Brazil’s airports will not take part for the first time.

Compared to increases by 8.9 percent across Mexico and Central America.The money will go towards re-branding its local branches with a stronger link to the American name.The company’s Brazilian director promises cheaper prices, a wider assortment of products, and more fresh produce. Wal-Mart arrived in Brazil in the mid-90s.
