From there she became Managing Director for La Roche Posay in the USA before taking the role of Managing Director of the Active Cosmetics Division in the United Kingdom and Ireland from 2012.

Roque will succeed Nilcéa Freire, who left the foundation in May 2016.Roque currently serves as executive director of Amnesty International Brazil.
