Yannick Raynaud has replaced Javier Labarta as L’Oréal Travel Retail Americas Managing Director.Raynaud began her career with L’Oréal Paris and Maybelline in Latin America in 1998. From there she became Managing Director for La Roche Posay in the USA before taking the role of Managing Director of the Active Cosmetics Division in the United Kingdom and Ireland from 2012.
Havas Media Group has appointed Ernest Riba as head of business & product development. In this new position, Riba will report to Ramiro Castillo, CEO of the group for Latin America. Riba comes from Wunderman.
3M has announced new vice presidents for Colombia in three areas:
Carolina Echeverri, who joined the company in 2002 as marketing analyst, will be the new VP of Business Security & Graphics.
Juliana Ayala will take over as VP of Health Business. He joined the company in 2006.
Álvaro Zapata will be VP of the Electronics & Energy Business. He joined the company in 2005 as a financial analyst.
Julio Gomez Guerrero has been appointed creative director at Publicis Venezuela.In his new position he will report to Gerardo Pernía, chief creative officer of the agency. Among the brands that he will be working in Venezuela are Nestlé, Ron Santa Teresa and City Bank, among others. Previously, Guerrero Gomez worked at McCann Erickson.
The Ford Foundation announced the appointment of Atila Roqueas head of its Brazil office, which is based in Rio de Janeiro. Roque will succeed Nilcéa Freire, who left the foundation in May 2016.Roque currently serves as executive director of Amnesty International Brazil. Previously, Roque served as executive director of the Institute of Economic and Social Studies (INESC.
