  • Mango

TUF4Y5sn_400x400The clothing brand Mango will close its eight stores and four outlets in Colombia, towards the end of March. The move comes after the firm Mercadeo y Moda firm, which markets the brand since 2014 in that Latin American country, has accused the parent company of unfair competition. According to Mercadeo y Moda’s attorney Sergio Rojas, "the shops will disappear because there is no way to sustain them. Colombia was deceived by Mango’s parent company in Spain (Punto Fa SL).” The stores have begun to close in the Latin American country, while the brand’s parent company has announced that they will not abandon that market, but strengthen its presence in it. For the time being, Mango stores in Colombia will close and the ones to be opened will be run by Panamanian company Wisa, although it is still uncertain when there will be opened and where there will be located.
