br.wunderman-saad-570-15Fabio Saad is the new VP of media at Wunderman Brasil. He will be tasked with improving the performance of the agency in the media field. Previously, Saad worked at McGarryBowen agency where he led the communication strategy team. The executive will assume the new position in January 2016.
descargaSol Martin is the new regional VP of strategy at Grey Argentina.Martin has been handling the planning department of the network’s office in Buenos Aires for three years and thereafter, she will coordinate the area for Latin America. In this new position, she will report directly to Alain Groenendaal, chairman & CEO of Grey Latinoamérica. In addition, she will retain her position as director of planning, leading the tendencies division.Martin worked at agencies like McCann Erickson, community and Vega Olmos Ponce.

 

AAEAAQAAAAAAAAU0AAAAJDgyMDRlZjVkLTM0MjEtNGVlMi05MzZlLWMzZDM2MTdkOGFlZQJonathan Halvorson, director-global media strategy and branded entertainment at General Motors, has left the company after eight months.The automaker has not named a replacement.Prior to joining the automotive giant, Mr. Halvorson had been global managing director for Publicis Groupe’s Starcom Mediavest Group, where he oversaw the agency’s global relationship with US$35 billion global snacking company Mondelez International.Starcom was GM’s media agency before the auto giant appointed Carat in 2012.GM spent US$1.66 billion on domestic measured media in 2014.

descarga (1)Marcelo Toscani, currently vice president of global manufacturing at Goodyear Tire & Rubber, will serve as president of Goodyear’s new combined unit for Latin America operations and report to Stephen R. McClellan. Toscani, 57, has global experience across regions and functions. A native of Argentina, he has experience in marketing, manufacturing, and general management in several Latin American countries. In addition to his current global operations role, Toscani has held leadership positions in Brazil and China during his more than 30 years at Goodyear. ”

descarga (2)In addition, the company announced that Jean-Claude Kihn has been named president of its Europe, Middle East and Africa business. Currently the president of Goodyear’s Latin America business, Kihn will fully assume his new role on January 1, 2016. He succeeds Darren R. Wells, who will leave the company in early 2016.

Aline-SantosUnilever has promoted Aline Santos to the role of senior vice president (SVP) for global marketing, replacing Marc Mathieu, who joined Samsung earlier this year.Having been at Unilever for over 25 years, she has worked across several arms of the business with brands such as Dove and Surf.In her new role she will lead the creative development of the global brands portfolio, the marketing innovation process, the marketing capabilities team and continue the work in scaling up startups through the Unilever Foundry.
