Lori Dicker has joined Walton Isaacson as SVP, Digital and Social, effective immediately. In her new position, Dicker will leverage her vast experience in digital and social to deliver compelling and innovative brand engagement solutions across multiple platforms.Dicker, who has over 15 years of experience leading strategic digital and social media programs with an extensive background in brand marketing, including CPG, lifestyle, and entertainment, has worked on both the agency and client side where she has collaborated with all practice teams to develop immersive, multi-channel campaigns. She has held leadership positions at Weber Shandwick, Social @ Ogilvy and Walt Disney Company, among others, heading up strategic communications initiatives in the digital space and working with clients like SC Johnson, Kimberly Clark, Kraft, General Mills, Bank of America, Fox, Warner Bros. and MTV

Andrea_Diquez-01-2015Andrea Diquez has been named president of Saatchi & Saatchi New York. Diquez has been with Saatchi since 1995 and was most recently an executive VP and global director overseeing the Olay account. She will continue managing that account. During her time at Saatchi she has held assorted roles, including CEO of Saatchi & Saatchi Mexico.

Havas Worldwide has announced two key hires and the creation of a new creative position spanning the Americas to further accelerate innovation and collaboration worldwide.

descargaToygar Bazarkaya will join the agency as chief creative officer for the Americas – a first for the creative agency network – and will focus on strengthening the agency’s creative capabilities and building a community among creative teams throughout North and South America. The new, dual-Americas role was prompted by Havas Worldwide’s desire to build an unparalleled culture of collaboration, and will serve clients’ growing creative needs across both continents, as well as globally. Bazarkaya joins Havas from BBDO New York. Prior to that, he was the chief creative officer of BBDO in Germany.

descarga (1)Likewise, Matt Howell’s appointment as the new global chief digital officer supports a similar mission of collaboration, interlocking digital teams and perspectives across all global markets. Matt will lead digital efforts throughout the network with a focus on expanding the agency’s offering and delivering digital enterprises in alignment with Havas’s “Together” strategy.Howell previously served as global chief digital officer for Arnold Worldwide beginning in 2011, and then for Havas Creative Group from 2012 to 2014. He is returning after spending the past year as partner at Vermonster LLC, a design and technology consultancy specializing in product development.

Howell and Bazarkaya will begin their new roles in the next month and will report to Andrew Benett. Both will be based in New York.

descarga (3)Joanna O’conell has been named chief marketing officer at tech marketing company MediaMath. She was previously lead analyst for AdExchanger, where she was involved with digital marketing research. Prior to that, O’Connell was principal analyst for interactive marketing professionals at Forrester Research. She also worked at Razorfish and VivaKi.

 

descarga (2)Samsung’s VP-marketing and operations’ Vince Hudson is stepping down after less than two years with the company. His future plans were not immediately available.Mr. Hudson began his career at Samsung in 2014, overseeing mobile marketing operations and product launches in the U.S.Prior to Samsung, Mr. Hudson spent more than 20 years at Procter and Gamble, leaving the company as VP/general manager-beauty care division. In 2006, he joined P&G’s beauty business.
