Ricardo Sternbach has been apointed Ad Sales Director at Olympusat based in West Palm Beach. He is tasked with developing an Advertising Sales Unit for the U.S. Hispanic and Latin American markets. Previously Sternbach worked as Regional Sales Manager at EstrellaTV in New York City.
Medula has appointed Javier Chanfreau as its new CEO. Since his designation, he has secured several business relationships and exclusive commercial representations including with Microsoft Advertising for Central America, Chile and Peru, Shazam covering the majority of Latin America and Miami, and Opera Mobile for the panregional market. For the last two years, Javier has been the VP of Sales for the U.S. Hispanic and Latin America markets for all of the company’s products. Based in Miami, Chanfreau has held different executive positions including: Regional Sales Manager Grupo Clarin, Country Manager Ybrant and South America Sales Manager Microsoft Advertising/Ybrant. Chanfreau has a Bachelors Degree from Universidad Catolica in Argentina and a Masters Degree in Higher Management from ESADE, Spain.

Tubemogul, a enterprise software company for brand advertising, has announced that Matthew Dybwad has joined the company as Head of Political and Public Affairs and will open the company's new Washington D.C. office. Dybwad will report directly to TubeMogul's VP of Media, Mark Rotblat. Dybwad brings over 15 years of experience as a digital media executive in political and public affairs advertising. Before joining TubeMogul, he co-founded CRAFT, an integrated political communications agency, where he was responsible for building and overseeing the digital practice, including the formation of the agency's internal programmatic unit.
Just nine months after her initial hire as head of sales for Yahoo in the Americas, Lisa Utzschneider has been promoted to chief revenue officer for all markets globally.Utzschneider has worked for advertising’s biggest sales organizations. She sold advertising at Microsoft for a decade before leaving for Amazon in 2008, when the online retailer first entered the advertising business.Utzschneider's predecessor, Ned Brody, has officially left Yahoo.Also out is Kevin Gentzel. Appointed to a senior sales role two weeks before Utzschneider's hire, he left in mid-May and now serves as CRO of Gannett and USA Today.
Balsera Communications has promoted Sonia Diaz to Director of Public Relations and Digital Strategies, effective immediately. In her expanded role, Sonia will support new business development while managing messaging, strategy, objectives and partnerships for Balsera’s U.S. Hispanic, public affairs and government affairs clients.Diaz joined Balsera Communications in 2011 as a Senior Account Executive supporting the agency’s U.S. Hispanic practice. During this time, she has led the creation and implementation of U.S. Hispanic and public affairs campaigns that include grassroots, grasstops, and public policy engagement for consumer, trade and online audiences. In 2014, her leadership won Balsera Communications the awards for PRWeek Multicultural Campaign of the Year and the Hispanic Public Relations Association (HPRA) Best Media Event of the Year.

Luis Jimenez has left his post at Spanish Broadcasting System’s (SBS) “Amor 93.1” WPAT-FM Paterson, NJ/New York and from his syndicated morning show less than a year after returning to the network. This was his second opportunity with SBS, after a failed effort on across the street rival Univision Radio.
