descarga (1)Luis Gaitan is Proximity Mexico’s new CEO.Gaitan will digitalize and integrate the local offices of BBDO and Proximity. In his new position, which he will assume on July 6, Gaitan will replace Efrain Mendicuti, who is leaving the agency. Until this appointment, Gaitán is serving as Chief Creative Officer and Chief Integration Officer of J. Walter Thompson Mexico.

35fba1bIvan Pinzón has joined Publicis Argentina. He will take over the position of Regional Account Director to handle Renault account in all Latin America. Finch is Colombian and he previously served as Account Director for Publicis subsidiary in that country.In the past, he was part of shops like Ogilvy, Bates, BBDO and he has been part of Publicis Group for four years.

descarga (2)Jose Manuel Montalvo has left Y&R mexican subsidiary, after having served as Creative VP of the agency for the past 2 years.

 

 

 

descarga (3)Joanna Monteiro is the new CCO of FCB Brazil, after being creative VP for one year. Now she will coordinate all the creative staff’s work of the agency. In this new role, she will report to Aurélio Lopes, chairman of FCB Brazil. Following Monteiro’s promotion, Max Geraldo will remain as the only creative VP and will help Monteiro in coordinating the work of creatives within the agency. Some of the accounts that the agency currently handles are: Nestlé Grego, Nivea, Sky, Campari, HP and Oreo, among others.

descarga (4)Leo Burnett Tailor Made Brazil has introduced a new creative duo: Andres Kirkelis and Romero Cavalcanti, from Lew Lara / TBWA and F / Nazca S & S respectively. They will work together with the DCs pair made up by João Caetano Brazil and Alexandre Pagano. They will both report to Marcelo Ris, partner and co-chair of the Brazilian subsidiary.

Kirkelis is an art director and this will be his second time at LBTM. The creative comes from Lew ‘Lara / TBWA San Pablo, after several years of career and after having worked for agencies like Ogilvy, Neogama-BBH, TBWA Portugal, Leo Burnett Portugal, DPZ and Loducca. Some of the clients Kirkelis work with are MC Donald’s, Fiat, Johnson & Johnson, Timberland and Volvo, among others.

Cavalcanti is an editor who has been living in San Pablo for the last 11 years. He comes from F / Nazca S & S, where he worked for five years.He has also worked for other brazilian agencies like Famiglia, J. Walter Thompson, McCann and AlmapBBDO. The list of brands for which he worked includes names such as Coca-Cola, Master Card, Bayer, Havaianas and Nestle, among several others.

descarga (5)Matias Aguilú and Francisco Ibarrola are the new creative directors of Carlos y Dario Argentina.

Before taking up this new position, Aguilú was art director at David. Prior to that, he was part of Y&R, La Comunidad and Grey Group.

Ibarrola served as editor, also at Y&R, Leo Burnett, McCann and Grey Group.

During theirr careers, the new DCs worked for brands such as Arcor, Coca-Cola, Fiat, Jeep, Movistar, Mondelez, Musimundo, Quilmes, Samsung, Staples, Unilever and Walmart, among others.

descarga (6)Victor Fantauzzo is the new Head of Planning of DDB Argentina.The executive has been working as an independent consultant after leaving Y&R, after 22 years of work. In his new position he will report to José Luis Longuinotti, partner and CEO of DDB Argentina and President of DDB Latina South Cone.
