Forbes Latam and Robb Report Mexico establish Miami based Group Brands

Forbes Latin America and Robb Report Mexico have established a new advertising sales company based in Miami called Group Brands. The company is led by Dalia Sánchez, SVP Latin America at Forbes Latam/Robb Report Mexico. Previously Forbes Latin America had been represented by Edward del Valle’s 3 A Worldwide Agency.
Why it matters: Luxury and Business Media Brands are expanding into Latin America to capture marketers needs to reach the expanding Latin American middle class as well as the upper classes. Miami is an important hub for panregional and in-country sales.

descarga (2)Group Brands, a Miami advertising sales representation company, has been established by Forbes Latin America and Robb Report Mexico. Group Brands is led by Dalia Sánchez, photo, until recently Group Publisher of Grupo Expansion International. Sánchez, tells Portada that the “new office for Group Brands was created by the shareholders of Forbes Latam and Robb Report Mexico in order to better meet the needs of their expanding client base in the region.”  She adds that  “our team is strategically placed to offer innovative and multi platform opportunities to its clients.  Offering a full range of print, digital and event initiatives, our goal is provide clients with the best customer service and complete marketing vehicles available in the region.” The Miami office will focus on servicing each clients individual needs.  Whether it is pan regional or single country focus, digital or event promotion, this full service office was created to provide clients with the best possible customer service and the best vehicles to reach their target market.”

Both publications have their own Latin American oriented editorial staffs dedicated to the development of exclusive content per brand.  In print as well as digital, each publication is led by a team of seasoned journalist who provide the right mix between exclusive content and international coverage.

Targeting Latin America’s affluent Sector

Both Forbes and Robb Report target Latin America’s economic upper and middle-upper classes.  Forbes is more business oriented while Robb Report is more about luxury lifestyle. “Forbes Mexico, Central America and Dominican Republic is targeted to our core readers which are influential decision makers and opinion leaders throughout the region,” says Sanchez. According to Sánchez,  Forbes has quickly become the most relevant business publication in Mexico, Central America and the Dominican Republic.  At present, Forbes Mexico has a circulation of over 45,000 copies, Central America features 50,000 and the Dominican Republic has 15,000 copies. Forbes also has an event marketing division which features some of the most relevant business forums in Mexico, Central America and the Caribbean.

According to Sanchez, Robb Report Mexico reaches the most discerning and upscale consumer in the market and has a circulation of 40,000 copies.  Its plans for expansion include other markets for Latin America and the Caribbean in late 2015 and early 2016. about Robb Report Mexico who is behind it…” Robb Report features a unique and targeted event division which provides the most exclusive brands access to the most upscale audiences in Mexico.Robb Report will launch its digital site towards the end of 2015.
