PalaciosAlvaro Palacios has been named Managing Director, Televisa Publishing and Digital, based in Miami. He will be leading all U.S. based operations of Televisa Publishing and Digital. Palacios tells Portada that “Televisa is a dominant force when it comes to content development and distribution. We are now able to offer advertisers access to our complete offering across Pay TV, digital, and print.” Previously Palacios worked as SVP Sales and Marketing at DLA, Inc. Prior positions in Palacios’ career include VP Managing Director Americas at Prisa as well as Regional Director Business Development at Terra Networks USA. descargaRodnie Gollarza will be Lowe Venezuela new CEO. Gollarza worked in brand communications for various companies like Polar, J. Walter Thompson Caracas and in election campaigns, among other projects. In the last 15 years, he led Cacao Advertising. He has recently landed in Lowe’s Venezuelan office to serve as CEO.

descarga (1)Ford has announced the promotion of Ricardo Flammini as its new marketing, sales and after sales Director for the South Group that covers Argentina, Paraguay, Uruguay, Chile and Peru. Flammini joined Ford Argentina in 1995 as Manager in the sales area. In 2001, he was appointed District Manager. Prior to this promotion, he was marketing and sales Director of Ford Argentina.

descarga (6)MediaCom Worldwide has named Misha Sher as its new head of sport, with a brief to expand the agency’s sports advisory capabilities and align the division with its wider ‘Content and Connections’ positioning.Sher first joined MediaCom Sport in 2012 as director of partnerships and brands, before becoming head of sport EMEA earlier this year.He has handled the GroupM agency’s relationship with Brazilian football icon Pele, helping to create campaigns with advertisers including Coca-Cola, Subway, Shell and Procter & Gamble.Sher will be based in London and report to James Morris, global head of MediaCom Beyond Advertising.
