Lazaro Stern is the new Regional Director Latam at Datorama, an Omni-Channel-Analytics Platform that last month closed a US$ 15 million round of Series B funding from investors includingGoogle Executive Chairman Eric Schmidt’s Innovation Endeavors. Datorama recently relocated from Tel Aviv to New York City. Stern previously worked at Sizmek (former DG/MediaMind).

The Coca-Cola Company has announced that Joe Tripodi will retire after seven years of service as Chief Marketing and Commercial Officer at the end of February 2015.He will be succeeded by Marcos De Quinto, currently President of the Iberia Business Unit & Vice President, Europe Group. Tripodi joined Coca-Cola in 2007 from Allstate Insurance Company, where he was Chief Marketing Officer. He also served in Chief Marketing Officer roles for The Bank of New York, Seagram Spirits & Wine, and MasterCard International.
Agency Xaxis has announced the promotion of Wally Sabria, a member of The Axis Agency senior management team and head of the agency’s Miami office, to Executive Vice President of Digital and Social Media. As part of his new role, will continue to lead the agency’s digital and social media practice and develop a new phase of digital-forward solutions and service products for the agency’s roster of Fortune 500 clients. Spanish Broadcasting System Inc., has appointed Eric Garcia as Revenue Chief of radio division for Spanish Broadcasting System Inc. (SBS). Mr. Garcia will be responsible for the management and oversight of Local and National Radio Division and Event Sponsorships areas as well as the overall impact of Station Operating Income. Eric Garcia will be responsible for growing and overseeing the revenue in all of the radio divisions. He will report to Albert Rodriguez COO of SBS and continue to manage SBS New York radio station operations as General Manager.Eric Garcia has been with Spanish Broadcasting System (SBS) since 2004.
Peter Dobrow has joined NBCUniversal’s mun2 as VP of Communications. He’ll report to mun2 president Ruben Mendiola .In his new position, Dobrow will be working with Alfredo Richard, SVP, Corporate Communications at Hispanic Enterprises and Content, NBCUniversal. Their areas of focus include trade and consumer media trade relations, internal communications and corporate brand positioning.Dobrow comes from Comcast Corporation where he was executive director of Corporate Communications.Dobrow, who is based in Los Angeles, earned his bachelor’s degree in communications at Rutgers University.
Veteran media executive Tim Spengler has left radio/digital/outdoor media company iHeartMedia. Spengler, who had joined the company a year ago, was president of content marketing and revenue strategy at iHeartMedia, formerly Clear Channel Communications.Spengler will now work with emerging companies, including IgnitionOne, KillerSpin, Mandalay Digital, and CoCo TV — all of which he has advisory roles.
Agency Richards/Lerma has hired Quim Gil, as head of brand planning, effective immediately.Mr. Gil’s has worked with multinational agencies such as McCann Erickson, Added Value, Ogilvy, and Synovate. He also received his MBA from ESADE, Europe’s top business school. Most recently he was the strategic planning director at LatinWorks, where he led strategy for brands such as Anheuser-Busch, Pepsi, Mountain Dew, Target, Capital One, Kleenex, Huggies and Pull-Ups.
