1409111206_Anthony HerreraSMU Cox Executive Education has announced the appointment of Anthony Herrera as executive director for the Latino Leadership Initiative (LLI).Herrera will have overall strategic and operational responsibility for the SMU Cox Latino Leadership Initiative, which works with the university and the business community to access talent resource and marketplace. The LLI will operate to deliver management education programs, organization development services, new research-based insights and community engagement activities.

 

101940090-271242_MikeAndres.530x298Mike Andres has been named president of McDonald’s USA, succeeding Jeff Stratton, who is stepping down after 41 years with the company.Andres was most recently chief executive officer of the Logan’s Roadhouse chain. He began his career at McDonald’s, where he owned his own McDonald’s restaurant in California. He later joined the corporate offices, serving in assorted executive roles, including as president and CEO of Boston Market when it was a McDonald’s subsidiary.

 

descargaMario Lopez has signed a new long-term agreement with Clear Channel Media and Entertainment. As part of the contract, Mr. Lopez and wife/co-host Courtney Lopez will continue hosting the nationally syndicated “On With Mario Lopez.” Clear Channel Media will be expanding the “iHeartRadio Countdown” weekend radio program starting next month. Mr. and Mrs. Lopez will welcome a different artist or celebrity each week to count down the top 20 songs on iHeartRadio’s Ultimate chart. Mr. Mr. Lopez will continue as the host of the syndicated television program ‘Extra’ even with the expanded radio duties for Clear Channel Media and Entertainment.

 

colin-barlowColin Barlow has been promoted to chief operating officer of GroupM Global. Former GroupM Global’s chief financial officer, he started in 2007. In his new role, he will lead financial oversight, acquisitions, corporate partnerships and operational efficiencies of tools, systems and processes. He will also contribute to the oversight of trading operations.  Prior to joining GroupM, Barlow held positions at Razorfish and Arthur Andersen. Stuart Diamond, most recently GroupM North America CFO, succeeds Barlow as GroupM Global CFO.

 

imagesSebastián Tonazzi has left his job as Marketing and Promotions Manager for KDEN, Telemundo’s O&O in Denver to take over as Public Engagement Officer for Denver’s Adams County School District. Sebastián, previously worked as Creative Services Director and Executive Producer for a weekend show on Univision Arizona. He began his career as a promotions coordinator with Telemundo Arizona.

He joins the agency from Wieden+Kennedy Portland, where he led the Interactive, Social and Data Strategy disciplines. Before joining W+K in 2011, Gallagher was general manager of the IPG Emerging Media Lab in LA.

 

drn18103Stephen DiMarco has been appointed president of Millward Brown Digital. He was previously chief client officer of the digital unit, formed in 2013 when Dynamic Logic and Compete were merged. DiMarco had been chief marketing officer of Compete.
