Cumulus has promoted Steve Shaw to President of Westwood One, effective immediately. Shaw is currently Senior Vice President of Cumulus National Sales, a position he has held since March, 2013. In Steve’s new role he will oversee Westwood One Networks, Westwood One Sports, and Westwood One Digital, including Rdio and Cumulus National Sales, which will be renamed Westwood One Media Group. Shaw was previously President of Katz Radio Group and President of Cox Digital Solutions.
After 7 years, Matias Molina is leaving investment bank Allen & Company in New York City,where he was Vice President, to become Director of M&A at Femsa in Mexico.Matias has a Master of Business Administration from Columbia University .
Dina Juliano was named senior VP of consumer product strategy for TV Everywhere for NBCU. She will report to Alison Moore, executive VP and general manager of the group. In her new role, Juliano is tasked with developing a product strategy to expand NBCU’s TV Everywhere growth across a range of authenticated digital channels, including the Web, mobile and connected devices. Prior to this, she was VP of user experience and product design for digital products at HBO.
Doug Rosen has been hired as VP of TVE for NBCU.He previously held positions at DirectTV and HBO.
Alexa Wilson was named VP of consumer marketing for TVE. Wilson was previously with publishing companies Hearst and Rodale.
Paul Meyer has been appointed Head of Sales North & South America for Simpleshow at its Miami headquarters. Simpleshow offers customized and interactive explanation videos for marketing, training, education and sales. Among his responsabilities, he will contribute to help customers explain their product or idea through the production of concise explainer videos. simpleshow clients include Microsoft, American Express, BMW, J&J, McDonalds, among others. Meyer was previously Vice President of Digital Strategy at Forward Equity Partners. Before working at Forward Equity Partners he was employed Televisa Publishing as Director of Digital Media Operations USA & International Markets. Before that he occupied a senior position at Publicitas Latin America.
