  • Asics’ – Global

da2817f7efe489d0dba7f635524fc6c0_400x400The agency Starcom has won Asics’ Global Media Planning and Buying Account after a pitch, beating MediaCom and incumbent OMD, according to an Adweek report. In addition to planning and buying, Starcom will also handle data and analytics work.It will work with Asics’ global creative agency 180 in Amsterdam to develop an integrated communications strategy.Although Asics’spent about US $15 million last year in the U.S., according to Kantar Media, it will need to grow that marketing effort if it wants to make significant inroads.

  • Chery – Argentina

Yeah!-The Argentinean agency Yeah!,  leaded by Sebastián Ibarra and Daniel Bloise, has won the Chery account after a pitch. Chery is part of the automotive group SOCMA. The agency will be in charge of the creative duties, media buying and planning for Chery in Argentina as well as its brands:  Tiggo, QQ, Fulwin, Skin and Face.

  • Hibu – Chile

hibuHibu, digital marketing & web company, has announced it has joined the Club Chile Digital as strategic partner.

 

  • BBC – Miami

bbcBBC Worldwide officially inaugurated its Latin American HQ in Coral Gable, Miami. The event was hosted by Fred Medina, executive vp and managing director of BBC Worldwide Latin America and U.S. Hispanic, together with BBC Worldwide’s president of global markets, Paul Dempsey.  “The opening of this regional trading hub represents a natural extension of 80 years of presence in Latin America and enables us to continue to increase our footprint in the region,” said Medina. “We have big ambitions for Latin America and the new headquarters are our launch pad.From here, we will lead operations in 18 countries.”, said Paul Dempsey.

 

  • Haivision – Convergencia Digital – Latin America
