javier-campopiano-draftfcb-hed-2013Javier Campopiano was named chief creative officer of Saatchi & Saatchi Latin America and will also oversee the agency’s multicultural unit, Conill. He was previously chief creative officer at FCB Garfinkel New York. Prior to that he was regional creative director of FCB’s Latin America operations and before that was executive creative director of DraftFCB Argentina. Hoog, President and CEO of AFP, this morning announced the appointment of Michèle Léridon as the agency’s Global News Director. On August 1 she will succeed Philippe Massonnet, who has decided to give up his duties as Global News Director at the end of July, after having served in that position since May 2009. He said:  “This is entirely my own decision, and it is due to private considerations”.

Her initial experience at the agency came on the France desk, and then in the media section, before she created the « city-suburbs » section in the police and justice service. She then became Abidjan bureau deputy director and then deputy head of the social affairs service before serving as deputy editor-in-chief for Europe-Africa. From 2004 to 2006, Michèle Léridon headed the social affairs service. Since 2009, she has been Rome bureau chief, after serving as editorial director from 2006 to 2009.

erbaERBA Diagnostics has appointed William Creech as Vice President Sales and Marketing. Headquartered in Miami, ERBA is an integrated in vitro diagnostics company with presence in the US and Mexico (in Latin America).



unit4The software company UNIT4 has announced a new management team after the purchase of Advent International. Ivo Totev has been named CMO, and will lead the global marketing organization. He will be responsible for UNIT4's global marketing strategy including Product Marketing, Demand Generation and Communications. Ivo will join UNIT4 from Software AG where he serves as CMO and Head of the Cloud Business with responsibility for global marketing and product marketing and is a member of the Group Executive Board.

Also, Paul Vogel has been appointed to the UNIT4 Executive Committee as Executive Vice-President Global Sales. Paul joins from Siemens where he was Executive Vice-President Global Sales and Services of the Software Product Lifecycle Management division. Paul has extensive enterprise software experience having held international leadership positions with JD Edwards and Peoplesoft.
