Starcom MediaVest Group Argentina has named Mercedes Pájaro as director of P&G´s digital hub. She will report to Eliana Agostini, P&G Account Director and Guillermo Tafet, CEO. Pájaro has experience in digital marketing, digital media buying, affiliate marketing, mobile marketing and retargeting.
Ebuzzing expands in Latin America with the opening of a new Mexican office. Operations in Mexico will be run by Isela Abarca, who joined Ebuzzingas Business Director from Impacktu earlier this month. Isela has over six years of experience working in start-ups within the advertising industry, and has been appointed to oversee Ebuzzing’s growth in Mexico. Working alongside Isela Abarca is Alex Demas, formerly of Pulpo Media. Demas will be in charge of the recently launched US Hispanic network.
Edelman has appointed Marcela Miguel Berland as its new Research and Insights director for Latin America. She will be based in New York and will be responsible of all the research activities in the region. Berland will report to Brett Davis, Global COO.
Ogilvy & Mather has named Carolina Molano director of the Pfizer account in Latin America. Molano will be based in Mexico and will be in charge of the account in the region. Molano has worked for Ogilvy for more than 7 years in Colombia. She has worked as director of the Coca- Cola account in the country.
Viacom Media Networks International (VIMN) The Americas has promoted Juan “JC” Acosta to executive VP and CFO. Acosta will be based in Miami and will be in charge of all the VIMN brands: MTV, Nickelodeon, Comedy Central, VH1 and Tr3s.
McCann Buenos Aires has announced four new positions for its digital department: Soledad Vicenzotti as new Project Manager; Luciana Yavico, also as Project Manager, Vanina Zugowitki as Community Manager and Noelia Monteagudo as web designer.
Leo Burnett Spain has appointed three new creative executives: Jesús Lada, creative director and Nacho Soria and Arturo Benlloch as creative supervisors.
Patán Tarazaga and Dany Minaker are the new creative directors of BBDO Argentina. They will report to Ramiro Rodríguez Cohen and Rodrigo Grau.
