David LandsbergDavid Landsberg, who as president and publisher guided the Miami Herald Media Company through a tumultuous recession and historic digital transformation of the news industry, is leaving to head Goodwill Industries of South Florida.
“After 30 years at the Herald and 7 1/2 years as publisher, my decision to take on a new challenge is really about a completely serendipitous opportunity to lead another organization that I also love,” said Landsberg, who has been a Goodwill board member for the past 18 years. “I leave here tremendously gratified that this organization, which is a pillar of our community, is on solid financial footing.”A national search is underway for Landsberg’s successor, which is expected to take up to two months.

Entravision Communications Corporation has appointed Rich Ripley to the position of Vice President of Integrated Marketing Solutions for the Sacramento, California market. In his role, Ripley will be responsible for sales efforts on Entravision’s radio, digital and mobile properties and marketing services in the Sacramento market. “Rich is a market and industry expert with almost 20 years of media sales experience in Sacramento, who will provide value and insight to our current and future clients,” said Angelica Balderas, Senior Vice President of Integrated Marketing Solutions for Entravision’s Sacramento, California market. “We are thrilled to welcome such a talented and respected professional to Entravision’s Sacramento team.”

ernesto-quinterosErnesto Quinteros has been appointed Johnson & Johnson new chief design officer. He will join the company May 5, 2014, and report to Sandi Peterson, group worldwide chairman.In his new role, Quinteros will lead the company’s Global Strategic Design Office, which works across Johnson & Johnson’s consumer, medical devices and pharmaceuticals segments, and with the marketing and R&D organizations. Quinteros was chief design officer at Belkin, where he spent 13 years as a designer and leader of a multi-disciplinary team. He was also Belkin’s chief brand officer, redefining the company’s culture and values, planning and designing the global headquarters, and all aspects of new brand articulation and cohesive global brand identity. His work has been cited by leading publications.He will be based at the company’s headquarters.

tcTom Conrad, Pandora’s Chief Technology Officer, is shifting to a part-time advisory role. Vice President of Engineering Chris Martin will be taking his place as CTO. The company is also promoting Vice President of Technical Operations Steve Ginsberg to the role of chief information officer.Conrad has been at Pandora for 10 years . He is planning to be full-time at Pandora for another three months, after that  Conrad will move to his new part-time advisory role .
