Ricardo Fragale has been named SVP, Managing Director SMG Argentina at Starcom MediaVest Group.
Former senior producer in Havana of The Associated Press, Fernando Gonzalez, has been appointed as regional video editor for Latin America. Gonzalez will lead AP’s video newsgathering operation as the news cooperative expands its video coverage across Latin America. Gonzalez, a native of Uruguay, will be based in Washington, D.C.
Havas Worldwide has appointed Gian Carlo Lanfranco and Rolando Córdova as its creative directors NY. Previously, the executives have work for the French agency Fred & Farid Group with the global account of Orangina.
Phantasia/Wunderman Peru has named Jorge Borrero as its new creative director. Borrero has previously worked for the Spanish agencies TBWA Madrid, Diluvia, Leo Burnett and Bangers Agency. Borrero will report to José Aburto, general creative director of the company.
Saatchi & Saatchi has appointed Pablo del Campo as creative global director. Del Campo founded Saatchi & Saatchi Buenos Aires in 2000 and has been working as regional creative director for Latin America since 2007.
Telecom Argentina has appointed Gustavo Vidal as its new director for big clients. He will be in charge of the mobile and traditional communications´solutions for the corporate environment and the Argentinean Government.
