What: Perfect World Entertainment and UOL BoaCompra Partnership brings free-to-play action MMORPG Neverwinter to Brazil.

Perfect World Entertainment, Inc., a publisher and operator of free-to-play massively multiplayer games, has announced a partnership with Latin American digital goods payment company, UOL BoaCompra, to monetize and market the free-to-play action MMORPG Neverwinter in Brazil. Neverwinter is now fully localized and available to play in Portuguese.
Through this partnership UOL BoaCompra is granted exclusive monetization rights for Neverwinter in Brazil and will guarantee that local customer support, payment gateways, and marketing through Brazil’s content portal, UOL, is provided.
MMORPG allows players to play the game for free, with optional micro transactions to adapt the game in a way that suits them best. However, more than 70 percent of Brazilians don’t have access to an international credit card to make purchases online with non-Brazilian companies.
Neverwinter is an action MMORPG that features combat and epic dungeons. Players explore the city of Neverwinter and its surrounding countryside, learning the vivid history of the city and battling its many enemies. In Neverwinter, players can create their own quests and campaigns with the Foundry, a content creation tool that allows players to integrate their adventures in to the live game world.
