MasterCard announced today that UM, IPG Mediabrands group’ global communications network, will continue as their official media agency in Latin America, following the recent media buying and planning bidding that the company led.
Twitter’s ad business is eventually showing some growth, this is still not enough. CEO Dick Costolo considers the company needs to make itself accessible and useful to the masses. He aims to make the service more welcoming to new users and more “indispensable” to existing ones.
Carat will be MasterCard’s new global media agency. MasterCard will still retain UM only in Latin America.
