 US Media Consulting has appointed Leandro Cruz de Paula as Executive Sales Director and Francisco Pol as Financial Director. The executives will be in charge of the sales and financial operations in Latin America. Also, Bruno Almeida has been promoted from Commercial Director to CEO and Ignacio Roizman, Operations Director, will also be in charge of the Technology Departement.

Khaled Abbas Marcet has been named Key Digital Director at Arena Barcelona, Spain. The executive will be in charge of the digital strategies. He will work with Oriol Arjona, Strategy manager of the agency.

WPP’s Grey has appointed New York-office Chief Creative Officer and President Tor Myhren as its new worldwide creative officer, following the retirement of outgoing Global Chief Creative Director Tim Mellors.

PPG Industries Inc. announced that Diane M. Kappas has been appointed vice president, Americas, for the company’s protective and marine coatings segment. Kappas will assume full responsibility for business in the United States, Canada and Latin America. Her appointment is effective Dec. 1.

G4S, global security and outsourcing group, has appointed Martin Alvarez Regional President, Latin America and Caribbean. In this role, Mr. Alvarez is leading more than 75,000 employees across 25 countries. The projected revenues for the region are more than $1 billion for 2013. Mr. Alvarez joins G4S from Dell, where his most recent role was Executive Director of Multi-Country Latin America (MCLA).

4G Americas has appointed Bob Calaff as director of Latin America and the Caribbean for the wireless industry trade association. In his new position, Calaff will be responsible for promoting the development of the 3GPP family of technologies (including LTE) throughout the region and communicating the latest advancements in these technologies to key stakeholders, including mobile operators, vendors, regulators, telecommunications organizations, media and analysts.
