Cesar CondeCesar Conde is moving over to the enemy! NBCUniversal announced that Cesar Conde, until last week  President of Univision, will join the company as an Executive Vice President reporting to Steve Burke, Chief Executive Officer, NBCUniversal. In this newly created role, Conde will focus on business development, strategic priorities and special business projects across the NBCUniversal portfolio of assets. He also will oversee the International Group led by the newly appointed Chairman Kevin MacLellan. Conde will be a member of the NBCUniversal Executive Committee. Raul Aliaga recently started a new position as Sr. Manager, Digital Media at New York City based agency D’Exposito & Partners. Previously, he was the Sr. Manager, Digital Sales and Partnerships at Komli Media ( Pubmatic Sister company) and Director Marketing Services-Cultural Markets for New York Life.

Stephanie Scotto was recently appointed to the positio of Regional Leader Mastercard in Miami. Scotto’s prior position was Director of Business Development at Colombian digital agency Ennova. She was based in Miami.

Robert Decherd, who led A.H. Belo Corporation since its spinoff from Belo Corp. in February 2008, retired as chairman, president and chief executive, turning over reins of the publicly held media company to his cousin Jim Moroney.Decherd became vice chairman of the board at the directors meeting on Sept.11.(Read Q&A with Dercherd reflecting on his 40 year-long career.)

CNET en Español, the new Spanish-language digital property of CBS Interactive,  is launching next Thursday September 19 announced the following new hires:Gabby Medecki, Director of the new brand, Vanessa Hand Orellana, Senior Editor and On-camera Talent, Marta Franco, Producer and  Erica Argueta, Associate Producer. 

Univision Communications announced a reorganization of the Univision Networks team, under which Alberto Ciuranapresident of Programming and Content; Isaac Lee, president of News; and Juan Carlos Rodriquez, president of Univision Deportes will report directly to Randy Falco, president and chief executive officer of Univision Communications, Inc. (See related news above about President Cesar Conde leaving Univision and joining Univision rival NBC Universal.) “Alberto, Isaac and Juan Carlos are three extraordinarily talented executives with keen insights and deep knowledge of our business, our audiences and what makes our Networks so successful,” said Randy Falco. “They are largely responsible for the recent success and tremendous momentum of our Network business.  This new management structure provides us with an opportunity to be even more nimble going forward and I look forward to working with the entire Network team and supporting their continued success.”

Dallas-based Hispanic branding agency Richards/Lerma announced that Salma Gottfried has joined the agency as director of brand management. Gottfried will oversee the development of clients’ brands, helping ensure that they are positioned for growth, along with daily client service. Gottfried comes to Richards/Lerma after a 14-year tenure with Dieste starting at the agency’s inception.

Latin3 welcomed  Gonzalo Rodríguez Boido as its new Integrated Marketing Director. With a multidisciplinary career, Gonzalo joins the company to integrate the Paid, Earned and Owned Media strategies, and coordinate the Departments of Social Media, Analytics and Search Engine Optimization (SEO).
