Vincent Bellore
has resigned as chairman of Havas and will be succeed by his son Yannick Bellore. The succession plan was announced a few months ago, and this announcement makes it official. Yannick Bellore, 33, joined the Bellore Group in 2006 and was named CEO of Bellore Media in 2009. He was appointed VP and managing director of Havas in 2011.

Adriana Cisneros assumes the role of CEO of Cisneros after seven years at the company, the previous three as the company’s Vice Chairman and Director of Strategy. Gustavo Cisneros continues in his role as Chairman of Cisneros. Cisneros will focus on four strategic pillars. First, consolidate new methods of distributing content and continue to be a leader as an integrated multi platform production company, spearheading the development of original content for Hispanic markets. Second, diversify risk with the creation of new business divisions. Third, invest in innovation by identifying entrepreneurial digital projects in the region, and exploring new ways of doing business. Fourth, a dedicated vision to Corporate Social Responsibility.

Telemundo has appointed Latha Sarathy VP to lead research on its web platforms. As VP of Telemundo Media Digital Research, Latha Sarathy will be responsible for managing all analytics projects, identifying innovative and effective digital marketing strategies, and monitoring metrics and audience opportunities for Telemundo.com and mun2.com. She joins from Interactive One/Radio One Digital, where she was VP of audience insights and analytics. In other news, Telemundo has promoted Yatisha Bothwell, previously director of consumer insights, to VP of insights and strategy. The pair start their new roles with immediate effect.

Spanish-language call center Listen Up Español announced its  new hires and promotions within the company.  Kevin Rouleau was appointed as Chief Financial Officer (CFO). Formerly in a key finance role at Auto Europe, Rouleau brings a new level of strategy and insight to Listen Up Español. Sage McLean has transitioned into Director of Technical Projects. With this role, McLean will focus on ensuring that Listen Up Español client reporting and interactions continue to be ‘awesome’ with particular focus on technology solutions. Following the Spanish call centers core value of growing brain cells, four Listen Up Español team members have been promoted to greater responsibilities. Moises Bolanos, now the Director of Operations Projects, will focus on key initiatives including growing outbound capabilities.Lana Charlton will transition into Manager of Client Services. Enrique Paredes was promoted to Account Executive. Ella Pichette now reports directly to the COO as Manager of Client Set Ups with the charge of ensuring all Spanish marketing campaigns are launched efficiently and effectively. New Account Executive, Damaris Rodriguez, brings extensive experience to Listen Up Español, including her work for Univision and other Hispanic media. Lorenzo Rodriguez was also hired as a new Account Executive with previous work in various call center operations. Nelson Hill has been promoted to Director of Marketing. She will focus on all aspects of marketing including digital marketing and brand management. Courtney Smith, Assistant Marketing Manager, joins the team with proven expertise in social media and will report to Ms. Hill. Setup Specialist, Magda Cardenas joined the Listen Up Español team, bringing a wealth of organizational management expertise after working with the Washington, D.C. Hispanic Chamber.

Isabel Sicherle has a new position, Director, Commercial and Institutional Relations at PRISA in San Paolo, Brazil. Sicherle previously worked as , director of The New York Times Latin American sales team.

Fusion announced ABC News’ David Ford is joining the company as Vice President for Corporate Communications. Last week Cesar Conde, President of Univision Networks, welcomed Florida Governor Rick Scott and Doral Mayor Luigi Boria to Newsport, the new home for Univision News and Fusion in the Miami suburb of Doral.

Spotify  has hired Jorge Espinel as its new head of global business development. Espniel spent the last four years working on digital strategy at News Corp and 21st Century Fox. Espinel fills a position left vacant for close to a year. Gerrit Meier had previously had a similar role at the company, but he left in October 2012 after a year-long stint.

Open English, the online English language school, has added two senior executives to its management team. Bart Catalane joins the company as Chief Financial Officer (CFO) while Sam Peterson will serve as the new Chief Technology Officer (CTO).
