Ramco Systems expands to Latin America with new Office in Puerto Rico

Enterprise software product company Ramco Systems plans to aggressively market its enterprise resource planning (ERP) on cloud solution overseas, especially in Latin America, where several big manufacturing firms have set up facilities.

The Financial Chronicle repots that Ramco Systems chief executive officer Virender Aggarwal told that “The company has had good success in the Spanish-speaking markets in recent years. Manufacturing firms have moved to these countries, as labour costs are relatively lower. This gives us an opportunity to sell our ERP solutions in these markets.”

Ramco Systems has also announced recently a new office in Puerto Rico. The company also said it has signed its first ERP on Cloud customer in the region, Vassallo Industries.

Vassallo Industries is a worldwide leading manufacturer of PVC with distribution in Central and South America, the Caribbean Basin, the United States and Canada. This deal was signed through Ramco’s partner XTRATEGIT.

Mr. Virender Aggarwal, CEO, Ramco Systems, said “Puerto Rico has a rich and thriving Manufacturing and Construction industry. Adding Vassallo Industries, the leading PVC Manufacturer as our customer is a first step towards further strengthening our position in the region.”

Headquartered in Chennai, the company has offices in the Asia-Pacific region, Australia, the US, Canada, Europe, the West Asia and Africa.

The Financial Chronicle said Ramco has allocated 30 per cent of its revenues for research and development and 8-10 per cent on marketing. Aggarwal said “We plan to hike our marketing budget to around 40 per cent, especially overseas”.
