Damian Molina is the new Chief Revenue Officer & Commercial Director at Taringa. Taringa is a Buenos Aires, Argentina based online community with a major presence in Latin America. Prior to his current position, Molina worked as VP Sales and Business Developmen (U.S. Country Manager) t at Fnbox.com.
Havas Argentina announced Fernando Lamaison as new CEO for the country. Lamaison’s promotion comes after its former CEO Vizcaino left the company. According to Adlatina, Gustavo Reyes, general creative director, also left the company to work with Ogilvy in Claro’s account.

IPG Mediabrands’ global communications network Initiative has appointed Sarah Ivey as its first executive vice-president, global chief strategy. Ivey moves to the role from her current post as director of communications planning worldwide. She joined Initiative in 2000 as vice-president strategic planning before later becoming general manager of Initiative Canada.
Online video advertising platform Ebuzzing has appointed Eric Tourtel as vice-president of international. Tourtel has previously worked as Goviral (AOL) managing director international, before that he was head of operations at World Web Network (WWN) and also head of sales for Elmundo in Spain. According to the company, the appointment comes as part of an international growth strategy to expand its presence beyond Europe into Latin America and Asia. Tourtel will be based in Ebuzing’s Miami offices and will be in charge of the international sales outside of Europe.
Zynga has appointed Don Mattrick as chief executive and member of the board, as its founding chief executive Mark Pincus steps aside. Mattrick worked for Microsoft for the last six years as president of the interactive entertainment business. Prior to Microsoft, Mattrick spent 15 years as president of worldwide studios at Electronic Arts, during which time he helped develop and scale the company’s leading global game franchises including Need for Speed, FIFA and The Sims. He founded his first company, Distinctive Software, at the age of 17, which was later acquired by Electronic Arts.
Banijay Entertainment has appointed Marco Bassetti as its new CEO. Bassetti has previously worked for Endemol Group as president. Bassetti will be charged with the international development. Also François de Brugada has been promoted to COO of Banijay.
WPP announced a joint between OgilvyAction and G2. The new agency is Geometry Global and will be leaded by Germán Yunes in Latin America. Yunes also maintains its position as CEO of Ogilvy & Mather Latina South.
