Max Sichel became CEO of Grupo Copesa in 2004, where he restructured and oversaw the company’s radical change, turning it into a multi-platform group and Chile’s main media holding company.
Sichel brought real competition to Chilean print newspapers, positioning La Tercera as the country’s most influential pluralistic newspaper, in addition to retooling its radio business, and boosting the group’s magazine and digital operations.
He is currently working on two new challenges: business paper Pulso, launched in 2012; and the new television channel 3TV, set to launch shortly.
