Mexico: Barbara Anderson has been appointed Editorial Innovation Director in Grupo Milenio. Anderson has worked the last 8 years for Grupo Expansión as Director and women´s magazines Director.
In her new post, she will be in charge of multi-platform content, editorial projects for Grupo Milenio and Multimedios, and also Anderson will be in charge of the relations between the editorial and the marketing departments.
Hewlett Packard Co.´s President Ray Lane resigned last week. Rumors said Ray Lane resigned because of the purchase of one of HP´s last assets, that have been publicly criticized by several investors in the firm. Ralph Whitworth has been named interim President.
Havas Worldwide has appointed former R/GA executive Sean Lyons as its global chief digital officer. In his new role, Lyons will serve as the executive lead on the Havas Worldwide network’s digital efforts encompassing digital strategy, development and operations.
Ross Jenkins has been promoted to global managing director of Performance Media of Profero. Jenkins will remain in the UK and oversee the UK business, as well as expanding his remit to include the Americas and Asia.
Interbrand has named Fernando Barrenechea Fernández as its new Consulting Director in Mexico. He will be in charge of the brand strategy, analytics and culture. Fernández will report to General Director Isabel Blasco.
Roberto Servitje Sendra has announced he will be leaving the presidence of Grupo Bimbo in September. Sendra has been working for the Group since 1945.
