Ana Torres de Navarra has recently accepted a position with Cesanamedia, as Sales Director, to open its Miami office. Ana is charged with continuing further development of The New York Times International Weekly in Latin America, along with the new task of representing The New York Times domestic portfolio in markets such as; Mexico, Central America, Colombia, Ecuador and Peru. She will also be responsible for developing business for the other Cesanamedia properties, including Wallpaper Magazine and The Mini International. In this new role, Ana will provide more integrated media solutions to clients in her territory.
Steve Walker, Sony Mobile’s corporate vice-president and chief marketing officer, is due to step down next month. Walker has been working for the company for the last 17 years. Walker’s responsibilities will be split between Sony Mobile’s new product marketing department, which is led by Jacob Sten and commercial duties handled by Sony Mobile’s new sales development division, headed up by Hiro Ishizuka.
Discovery Networks Latin America/U.S. Hispanic (DLA/USH) has hired Felipe Cabrales Urdanetta as its new Director for Colombia. The executive will be based in Bogota and will report to Allan Navarrete Sr VP and General Director of DLA Mexico, Central America and Colombia.
Posterscope Worldwide has named Chris O’Donnell as global commercial director, effective immediately. O Donnell will be based in Hong Kong.
