The digital ad agency Exponential has opened a new office in Mexico. Federico Carrera will be in charge of the branch as Latin America Director. The new office will manage both Firefly Video and Tribal Fusion products.
Havas has recently rebrand as Havas Worldwide. As part of this rebranding Matt Weiss has been named as global chief marketing officer, effective January 2013. Based in New York Weiss replaces Naomi Troni, who recently became chief executive of Havas Worldwide Southeast Asia. Troni has been at Havas since 2004.
Also, Sylvain Chevalier has been named CEO at Havas Media Group Mexico. Sylvain Chevalier was General Director of MPG – Media Planning Group. Havas Media Group includes former MPG and Arena, Havas Digital and Media Contacts.
Ximena Vega, Regional Planning VP of Mayo Draftfcb, has joined the Global Planning Counsil of the network. Vega has been working for the agency for the past 17 years.
Arena Media Spain has named Fernándo López-Quero as Strategic Projects Digital Director. He will be in charge of the Telefónica-Movistar digital account, working with Alfonso González, Planning Director of the agency.
Sara Galante has joined Alcance Media Group as an Account Executive. Galante comes to Alcance from Indiana having graduated with a BA in Communications and Spanish from Indiana University.
