MEXICOTV announced that it will  transmit all the excitement of the 2012 Liga de Ascenso Mexican soccer league games in the U.S. The exclusive transmission rights include live coverage of every game, team and goal for fans to enjoy as if they were sitting in soccer stadiums in Mexico. MEXICOTV is available
throughout the United States in local markets via DirecTV, Comcast and Time Warner.

Focus on Provinces
The Liga de Ascenso is the second professional level of the Mexican soccer league and the champion is ultimately promoted to the Mexican First Division. It’s a league for impressive players with raw talent to be turned into the next big thing in the international soccer world. More than 95% of the 25 million Mexicans living in the U.S. originate from provinces, not from Mexico City. Despite this fact, the majority of the Mexican programming in the U.S. originates in the capital. MEXICOTV was created to fill this programming void, with the goal of offering coverage from those small Mexican towns and cities that aren’t usually covered by Hispanic television in the U.S. That’s precisely why all league soccer games from the Liga de Ascenso are transmitted live via MEXICOTV.
