Viacom International Media Networks (VIMN) The Americas announced that Fernando Gaston, currently SVP of Content & Creative for MTV, VH1 and Comedy Central Latin America, will expand his role to become Brand Manager of the company's US Hispanic network Tr3s: MTV, Música y Más. He succeeds former Tr3s GM & EVP Jose Tillan, who has decided to leave the company for personal reasons. Federico Cuervo, currently VP of Programming and Production for MTV, VH1 and Comedy Central Latin America, will replace Gaston as Brand Manager of Comedy Central Latin America. Both will report into Sofia Ioannou, Managing Director of VIMN The Americas.

Terra named Alfredo Pedroso  as its new Director of International Sales – Latam. Pedroso joins the team as part of Terra's latest expansion efforts which included the addition of three executives last month. He will report to Liz Sarachek Blacker, Chief Revenue Officer for Terra in the USA.  Pedroso will be responsible for developing, closing and maintaining strategic advertising and sponsorship accounts, focusing on pan regional sales (Latin America) from the U.S. He will work with the local marketing and pre-sales teams to identify and create regional solutions for U.S. clients interested in Latin America. Most recently, Pedroso served as the client experience officer at Diego + Kbar + Partners where he focused on client management and business development.

Daniel Cobos will be the new head of production of a new unit at Mexican BTL agency and ifahto. This new unit will provide professional and personalized attention to its customers in terms of events, conferences and conventions.

Grey Madrid appointed Laura Blanco as General Director of Innovation. Blanco will be responsible for the areas of Digital and New Media Development, and Production and Digital Processes. Blanco previously held management positions at MRM Worldwide Spain, BBDO, TELEFE and Bank of Boston. She will report to Roberto Sanchez Simon, CEO and Member of the Group Management Committee.

The board of IAB Spain named David Segura CEO and Carlos Torres as Vicepresident of the association. Segura currently serves as CEO of Double You and Torres is Director of Advertising & Online at Microsoft.

Ogilvy & Mather named Miguel Angel Ruiz as a member of Ogilvy Worldwide Creative Council. Ruiz currently holds the position of vice president of creative services at Ogilvy&Mather Mexico.
