Andrea Suarez is the new president of IPG Mediabrands World Markets. Suarez will be responsible for leading Mediabrands IPG agencies, UM, Initiative and BPN. She is the first Latin American woman to have major responsibilities  in a global role in a media agency.

Ogilvy&Mather Brasil announced the arrival of Marina Wajnsztejn and Mirella Bergamini, two professionals in the digital area. Marina will be the new Director of Social Media while Mirella, Account Group Director, will lead digital accounts including Burger King, JAC Motors, Kimberly, Heineken and Dupont. MeanwhileWajnsztejn comes from Sinc and worked for brands such as Nestle, LG and Vivo.

Mary Beth Henson will be the new Director of Communications& PR of Video. Henson will be responsible for developing and overseeing the implementation of all communication strategies in Paris, England, Spain, Italy, China, India, Mexico, USA, Senegal and Russia, countries where this network operates.

Garwich BBDO announced the addition of Carlos Serrano as its new CCO. His challenge is to "Make a creative input from the business model, the company's vision, strategic planning, organization of internal processes, customer relations, among others, along with Ignacio Gómez, Diego Villalba, Christian Villalba and the rest of the team", said Serrano.

Jaime Valverde joins Omnicom Media Group as the new Head of Social Media. He aims to expand the area within the group to work with the team of OMD and PHD.

Simon Calvert , the worldwide head of strategic planning at Digitas, has left the network.

Frédéric Michel has been named Europe Director, Public Affairs and Communication at Telefónica in London. Mr Michel joins Telefónica Group from News Corporation where he most recently served as Senior Vice-President, Government Affairs and Public Policy for Europe.
