Heidy Pineda is the new Pan-Regional Sales Planner at Discovery Communication. Previously Pineda worked as Sales Executive Americas at Grupo Prisa in Miami.
Telemundo Media announced it named Patty Marrero Senior Vice President of Client Partnership Development. Marrero will report to Dan Lovinger, Executive Vice President of Advertising Sales & Integrated Marketing for Telemundo Media, and Enrique Perez, Senior Vice President of Sales for the Telemundo Station Group. She will be based in New York. In this role, Marrero will oversee all new client development and enterprise selling activities for Telemundo Media, including Telemundo Network, Telemundo stations, mun2 and all digital properties. Working closely with internal stakeholders and business units, she will formulate new business and partnership strategies, as well as develop and direct all strategies for client development and marketplace deployment.

Effective September 10, 2012, he will be based in New York and will report to John Eck, Univision’s Executive Vice President, Technology, Operations and Engineering.
Xavier Mantilla has left RedMas, the Mobile Advertising Network of the Cisneros Group of Companies, where until recently he worked as Director of Sales.Republica, a cross-cultural advertising, digital and communications agency, announced that Rosanna Fiske has joined the company as executive vice president and chief strategy officer. The newly created position will focus on enhancing client strategy alignment among the agency's disciplines by integrating advertising, digital and communications initiatives as well as by leveraging cross-market approaches.
