Republica, a cross-cultural advertising, digital and communications agency, announced that Rosanna Fiske has joined the company as executive vice president and chief strategy officer. The newly created position will focus on enhancing client strategy alignment among the agency's disciplines by integrating advertising, digital and communications initiatives as well as by leveraging cross-market approaches. She will oversee research and planning; account management; communications, content creation and engagement; and digital and media.

Heidy Pineda is the new Pan-Regional Sales Planner at Discovery Communication. Previously Pineda worked as Sales Executive Americas at Grupo Prisa in Miami.

Leo Burnett Tailor Made has two new professionals in their team: the editor Fernando Calvache and art director Marcelo Bruzzesi, both members of the team will be led by Creative Director Guilherme Jahara and the dept. of Creatives VP: Ruy Lindenberg and Marcelo Reis. Calvache worked in NBS, Y&R, Santa Clara and Giovanni Draftfcb and Bruzzesi comes from DM9 and scored five lions at the Cannes Film Festival.

Xavier Mantilla has left RedMas, the Mobile Advertising Network of the Cisneros Group of Companies, where until recently he worked as Director of Sales.

Nuria Serrano is the new Director of Strategic Planning of VCCP Spain. She will lead the agency in Spain and will be working with Javier Suso (General Director) and Beto Nahmad (Executive Creative Director).

Fernanda Antonelli joins Almap BBDO and will be the new Director of Client Services. She will be responsible for leading the attention of accounts handled by Almap BBDO. Antonelli worked for JWT Brazil as Head of Client Services.

Publicis Chile appoints Alejandra Vaca as its new Digital Director. Vaca is specialized in online media, information´s architecture and social networks. Her goal is strengthening Publicis service´s integration offered to their customers. Alejandra has worked for TBWA/Frederick and Havas Media.

Hearst Magazines appointed  Joanna Coles as editor in chief of Cosmopolitan magazine. Coles is also in the same position for the magazine Marie Claire since 2006.

Ricaldoni Lucia is the new Director of Customer Service at  MPG Argentina. She will work specifically with the account of Coca Cola. The executive will be responsible for all business units of Havas Media to lead the service that MPG provides to brands owned by Coca Cola.
