Twitter has selected Internet Media Services (IMS) as its sales representative for Latin America.

“This partnership marks the beginning of Twitter’s commercial presence in the region – and the first of several steps Twitter will be taking to grow internationally. We are thrilled that Twitter has selected IMS as their exclusive representative to embark on this expansion”, said Maren Lau, Head of Corporate Development of IMS.

IMS also announced that a special team will work exclusively for Twitter`s advertising sales in Latin America beginning in September this year.

Gaston Taratuta, CEO of IMS said “We are pleased to be Twitter´s sales representative for Latin America. We are really happy to help with our experience to push the expansion of the digital media in Latin American markets”
