Vogue Mexico and Latin America editor Eva Hughes has been named chief executive of Condé Nast, replacing Farid Aouragh who has left to pursue other opportunities. A replacement editor for Vogue will be announced soon. Mexico and Latin America

Nokia has named Thierry Amarger as its new President for Nokia Iberia. Amarger has been working for Nokia Latin America since 2006. Amarger sustitutes Alberto Matrone, who will be directing Nokia as Vicepresident for Europe.

Carlos Nido, VP of Sales of El Nuevo Día in Puerto Rico and the president of the Sales Comite for the US Hispanic Market at Grupo de Diarios América (GDA), announced that Carlos Moreno has been named Regional Sales Director for El Nuevo Día in the US Hispanic Market and Grupo de Diarios América. Moreno currently is the Sales Director of El Nuevo Dia.com. Mr. Moreno will be based in Boston, MA.

Apple has hired former Adobe and Quantcast exec Todd Teresi to run its iAd mobile ad network, according to Bloomberg. Mr. Teresi will report to Apple Senior VP-Internet Services Eddie Cue and replaces Andy Miller, who left for Boston-based Highland Capital last summer.

The Chilean digital agency Cardumen hired Eduardo Castillo as its new Content and Social Networks Director. Castillo is a renamed journalist who has worked for CNN Chile and Canal13cl.

Comcast Cable has hired Ruben Mendiola as its vice president and general manager of multicultural video services. Mendiola reports to Marcien Jenckes, senior vice president and general manager of video services for Comcast. In his new job, Mendiola is responsible for directing, designing and implementing Comcast's multicultural video services strategy. He will collaborate with various Comcast divisions, regions and business unit partners to develop competitive product pricing, positioning and marketing strategies.

U.K.-based set-top maker Pace announced that Tim O'Loughlin has been appointed president of its Pace Americas business unit, replacing Mike Pulli, who was named CEO last month.
