Michelle Herrera Mulligan has been tapped as editor of a new stand-alone magazine edition in English by Hearst’s Cosmpolitan. The magazine will be published twice a year starting in May 2012. Most recently the managing editor of LasFabulosas.com, Herrera Mulligan is a journalist with 10 years of experience capturing the surging Latina voice in the U.S.
Jose Mallea is new Florida State Director for the republican presidential candidate Newt Gingrich. Mallea helped Marco Rubio's come-from-behind victory in the 2010 Senate race. The Miami-based campaign strategist has longstanding ties to powerful Republicans in the state, which will hold one of the nation's earliest primaries on Jan. 31. Gingrich's media consultant is Lionel Sosa, who heads a Texas-based, Hispanic advertising agency and has worked for John McCain and George W. Bush.
