Research: Microsoft continues to Top Google among U.S. Hispanics

ComScore just released data about the most visited sites in the U.S. Hispanic market during the month of September 2011  (see box with top 25 most visited sites below).
As in the August top Hispanic online sites ranking, Microsoft sites continue to be the most visited among Hispanic audiences.  Interestingly in the total U.S. ranking Google leads followed by Yahoo, with Microsoft only in the third position.

Other interesting features of the September ranking are:

  • No Hispanic pure play (e.g. Univision.com) is among the 25 most visited sites.
  • However, among the top 10, Microsoft (1), Google (2), Yahoo (3), AOL (6) all have Hispanic specific properties.

  • Facebook is, by far, the most visited social networking site.
  • Music site Vevo is among the top 10 Hispanic sites, but only 16 for all U.S. Audiences, pointing to towards the high appreciation Hispanics have for  music
  • Content Farm Sites of Demand Media makes the Nr. 21 position
  • Mostly Blog oriented sites WordPress and Technorati are among the top 25 websites most visited by U.S. Hispanics and have better rankings than in ComScore rankings for total U.S. audiences.
