  • Tourism The Bahamas – Latin America

Grupo bt USA has been awarded with The Bahamas Tourist Office account and beginning this month will develop the integrated marketing and communication strategy. The main objective of Grupo bt USA is to increase at least 50% of the visits of Latin American travelers towards The Bahamas. The main slogan for the campaign will be: "Bahamas, no lo has visto todo"

  • JustGiving / Albion – Global

JustGiving, a company that administers charitable donations, has handed its global advertising account to Albion London.  The hiring, after a two-month pitch process, marks the first time that JustGiving has worked with an ad agency. Albion is now expected to work with JustGiving on a new positioning, as well as creating a series of digital campaigns to help raise awareness of the range of products that it offers.  The work is thought to contain a strong social media element to help JustGiving grow stronger relationships with consumers.

  • ExactTarget – Latin America

ExactTarget, a global provider of email marketing and interactive marketing solutions, launched its Latin America division past Wednesday,following the acquisition of Brazil-based email marketing provider Frontier Digital.

  • iCrossing / Wallaby Group – Latin America and Spain

iCrossing, a global digital marketing agency, announced it has completed the acquisition of Wallaby Group, a digital marketing agency serving Latin America and Spain. The acquisition expands iCrossing’s footprint in Latin America and Europe. Wallaby Group is headquartered in Santiago, Chile with offices in Mexico City; Buenos Aires, Argentina; and Lima, Peru. The agency also has an office in Madrid that will support iCrossing’s campaigns in Spain.

  • Tourism Australia – America

Tourism Australia has appointed Ketchum as its public relations agency for the United States, Canada and Latin America. The account will be managed out of Ketchum’s Los Angeles office. Ketchum’s activity will focus on strategic media partnerships, social media and Tourism Australia’s International Media Hosting Program. The new arrangements will run for three years, with an option to extend the contract for a further 12 months.

  • Motorola – Latin America

Motorola, Mobility, Inc. is bringing its super-sleek Milestone 3 device to the Latin American market this spring. The device is known for faster delivery of web browsing, faster loading of Flash videos and higher quality gaming experiences. The device will be available in Brazil and in select countries across Latin America by the end of September.

  • JWT / Vodafone – Spain

Vodafone has chosen WPP´s JWT to handle its communications efforts in Spain. The agency has won the account after a two month´s pitch against other WPP´s agencies.

  • Milka / Mantecol / Del Campo Nazca S&S – Argentina

Del Campo Nazca S&S has added two new brands to its clients in Argentina: Milka and Mantecol. The agency has been working since 2009 with Cadbury brand also.

  • Bonavena – Mexico

Martín Mercado y Darío Straschnoy announced the opening of a new advertising agency in Mexico: Bonavena.
