The Mobile Marketing Association has appointed Marcio Chaer as managing director for MMA Latin America. In his new position, Chaer will focus on the education of agencies and brands, and look to provide clear understanding of mobile marketing benefits, metrics and consumer privacy best practices. Over the past five years Chaer has been dedicated to the digital and mobile markets, specializing in strategic consultancy services and new business development. The executive also plans to increase MMA operations in Latin America, which recently opened a Local Council in Argentina.
