Publicis Groupe's Starcom MediaVest Group has named Lisa Weinstein as president of global digital and search. Weinstein replaces Sean Finnegan who announced his departure as president and chief digital officer of SMG late last year. Based in Chicago, Weinstein will focus on driving a digital agenda inspired by both marketer needs and the future state of the communications industry, and expand global search capabilities.

ESPN Deportes announced Ricardo Puig as the latest anchor to join SportsCenter, the network's flagship sports news program. Puig began his sports career in 2000 as editor in chief at CNI Canal 40 in Mexico. For the past decade he has worked in both television and print publications covering sports news and games.

Spanish Broadcasting System Inc., ("SBS") announced the appointment of Albert Rodríguez to Chief Revenue Officer of SBS's consolidated operations. Mr. Rodriguez will be responsible for overseeing the revenue and profit performance of SBS's consolidated operations, including Radio, Television, and Interactive and Entertainment divisions. Mr. Rodriguez will continue to oversee the day-to-day operational matters of the Miami television market as General Manager.

McDonald's USA announced that Edgardo A. Navarro Linares has been promoted to Vice President, Multicultural Marketing, McDonald's USA. In this role, Navarro will be responsible for McDonald's U.S. strategic and ethnic consumer marketing efforts. Reporting to McDonald's U.S. Chief Marketing Officer Neil Golden.

Grupo Gallegos announced the hiring of Gustavo Razzetti to the newly created position of Chief Strategy and Engagement Officer. He will manage Grupo Gallegos’s Media and Account Planning departments.

Telemundo announced that Michael Rodriguez has been named Executive Vice President, Multimedia Development and Distribution. The announcement was made by Telemundo President Don Browne, to whom Rodriguez will report directly. Rodriguez will remain in his role as head of network sales until a replacement is named.

Telemundo also announced that Marty Sokoler and Diana Fernandez have both been hired as Vice President of Sales for Telemundo Stations KVEA Los Angeles and WSNS Chicago, respectively. In this position, Sokoler and Fernandez will lead all aspects of the sales strategy and operations at each local station, including local business development, local sales initiatives and sales promotions. They will develop strategic partnerships in each market and work closely with clients and advertising agencies in delivering the stations valuable audience to customers.

Joshua Mintz has been named Senior Executive Vice President, Telemundo Entertainment, effective immediately. In this new position, Mintz will be responsible for the overall entertainment development and programming strategy of the Telemundo Network.

Tony Vinciquerra, chairman and CEO of Fox Networks Group, is leaving the company after 10 years. Fox International Channels topper David Haslingden has been named president and Chief Operating Officer of Fox Networks Group. Haslingden will move to Los Angeles for the job, he will oversee strategic business development, finance, legal, advertising sales and corporate functions. At Fox International Channels, Hernan Lopez has been named prexy/CEO and report to Haslingden.

Sesame Workshop, the non-profit educational organization behind Sesame Street, has promoted Myung Kang-Huneke to chief of staff. She will join Sesame Workshop's president and CEO Gary E. Knell and COO H. Melvin Ming at the president's office. She will take on new duties in supervising public policy along with her previous job in running business and legal affairs. Kang-Huneke will be in charge of Sesame Workshop's Corporate Partnerships and Development groups and for decision-making on key projects as well as for improving the achievement of the organization's priorities.
