Mr. Philip Vandervoort, General Manager of Microsoft Belux since June 2007, has been named Head of Business and Marketing Operations for Microsoft Latin America. General Motors has promoted Joel Ewanick to Global CMO. Ewanick will also mantein his position as  vp of U.S. marketing. Ewanick will work closely with the presidents and marketing chiefs for Europe, Latin America and international.

Alejandro Nieto has been named General Director at Cadena SER, the Spanish Broadcasting Company, which belongs to Union Radio (part of the holding Prisa) He will be replacing Raúl Rodríguez, who has been at the position for the last 4 years. BBC Worldwide has announced the appointment of Helen Jackson as global MD, content and production.
