Palladium Equity Partners Announces Executive Promotions

Palladium Equity Partners, LLC, has announced that three senior members of its investment team have been promoted to positions of increased responsibility at the firm. Palladium is a private equity firm based in New York focused on investments in the U.S. Hispanic marketplace like parenting media company Todobebe.

  • Luis Zaldivar has been promoted to Managing Director from Principal. Mr. Zaldivar joined Palladium in 2004 and focuses on consumer, food and restaurant investments. He serves on the Board of Directors of Taco Bueno and formerly served on the Board of Directors of Castro Cheese.  Mr. Zaldivar earned a B.S. in Finance from New York University's Stern School of Business and an M.B.A. from Harvard Business School.
  • Erik A. Scott has been promoted to Managing Director from Principal. Mr. Scott joined Palladium in 2005 and focuses on business and industrial services investments.  He serves on the Board of Directors of Regional Management Corp., Capital Contractors, Remesas Quisqueyana and Dolex.  Mr. Scott earned a B.A. in Economics with a concentration in Spanish from Vanderbilt University, and an M.B.A. from the Darden Graduate School of Business Administration at theUniversity of Virginia.
  • Rafael Ortiz has been promoted to Principal from Vice President.  Mr. Ortiz joined Palladium in 2006 and focuses on healthcare and industrial services investments.  He currently serves on the Board of Directors of American Gilsonite.  Mr. Ortiz earned a B.S. from the Georgia Institute of Technology and an M.B.A. from Stanford's Graduate School of Business.

Other promotions this year include Yue Guan, Justin R. Green and Adam Shebitz promoted from Associates to Vice Presidents and Leon Brujis promoted from Analyst to Associate. Palladium has also added to its team, Julie Chang - Vice President of Investor Relations, Amanda E. Rahner - Senior Accountant and Kenneth K. Salas - Analyst.
