Sales Leads Panregional: Bigpoint, Vaselina, Beck’s, Unilever…

Hamburg-headquartered free-to-play online game company Bigpoint has opened a new branch in Sao Paulo, Brazil, its fifth office and its first location in South America.

The new facility, which is located in Brazil's most populous city, will have around ten employees starting January 2011. Those workers will handle Bigpoint's business development, marketing, and public relations for Latin-American countries -- there are no plans for in-house game development with the office.

  • Vaseline

BBH Asia-Pacific has launched a global campaign for Vaseline that will reach three major regions before the year ends.

The spot was reshot for each region, and will be aired in South Asia, Southeast Asia, Africa, Middle East and other global markets that will be announced later. BBH Asia-Pacific has been the agency-of-record for Vaseline, a Unilever brand.

  • Beck's

Anheuser-Busch InBev has appointed Mother to handle the estimated 47,000,000 global advertising account for its Beck's brand.

Mother London, in conjunction with Mother New York, pitched for the business against undisclosed agencies. The previous incumbent on the account was Publicis. Mother, which already handles the advertising for the AB-InBev beer brand Stella Artois, will work on a fully integrated campaign for Beck’s to be released next year. Publicis first won the business in August 2009, in a pitch, after the previous incumbent Lowe resigned the business.

  • Unilever

Unilever, the global FMCG company, has brought in Ogilvy & Mather Worldwide to handle its corporate brand business, following a split from Fallon London.

Unilver said the move in agencies marks a change in development of the brand from Fallon London’s early strategic work, to the development of a campaign "across multiple communication channels".

Ogilvy & Mather already handles some Unilever brands, including Dove, Hellmann’s and Ponds.
